Claude's love for tropical places, clear ocean waters, and boats led him to move to Fort Lauderdale in the early 1970's. He has spent the last 40 years boating as often as possible throughout the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Caribbean side of Central and South America, the Eastern Seaboard of the United States, the Pacific Coast of United States, and the Pacific coast of Central America. Claude has been fortunate enough to complete two transatlantic crossings and seven Panama Canal transits!
Fifteen years ago, he became involved with yacht brokerage because it kept him attached to yachting and the people that enjoy yachting; which in his opinion is a great combination! Claude's own Yacht Brokering Philosophy is as follows: "Work less clients more thoroughly, take the extra steps to ensure that the client finds the right boat and buys it at a reasonable price, and provide whatever support and advice I can to ensure that the client and their families obtain the most enjoyment out of their yachting adventures. When the time comes for my clients to retire from yachting or to sell their present vessel to obtain another vessel, I provide them with the most practical ways to market and sell their vessels as quickly as possible."
